San Francisco - Castro St.
The Castro and
the nearby streets are the countries and the city most famous LGBTQ
neighborhood.
Even today you
can still feel the progressive and acceptive of “all others” when walking in
this neighborhood.
There are many
bars here and you can just walk or get in to eat or drink.
The liveliest
times of year are during Pride festival in June (https://sfpride.org/) and the
Castro Street Fair in October (https://castrostreetfair.org/).
Castro is located within a walking distance between Mission district and Haight-Ashbury:
Noe Valley and
it center 24 St. is located at the south of Castro St.
